How Long Will It Take and What Will It Cost?

You are in complete control. You decide how much time you want us to spend and what the cost will be.

It depends on what kind of book you want to publish and how much of the work you want us to do—as opposed to doing it yourself. You can gather all of the photos and images, do all the writing, and limit our role to designing the final product, editing, and producing the books. For such a project, we would bill by the hour, plus expenses. The price would be anywhere from a few hundred dollars up.

Alternatively, we can conduct interviews, research databases, contact librarians and historical societies, search old newspapers and provide additional services, in which case the project would be more expensive.

You should not make the project more time-consuming or costly than you want, but you should end up publishing a book that reflects the way you want your family to be remembered.
